My recent stay at Carraholly in Liskeard, Cornwall was absolutely delightful. Situated in a secluded rural location, this homestay offered a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. the hosts, Cathy and Ted, were incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. The housekeeping was impeccable, with towels replaced daily and a well-stocked breakfast bar featuring tea, coffee, milk, biscuits. the room itself was clean and comfortable, with a private entrance, kitchenware, and a fully equipped bathroom with a shower. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and the wildlife on the pond, including ducks and geese. the garden was a lovely spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. the location was convenient for exploring Bodmin Moor and other nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for my weekend getaway. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many places, but Carraholly truly stood out for its charm and tranquility. I am already planning my next visit and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat in Cornwall.
